Travian map positioning

Where am I placed on the Travian map? What does it mean that I have “+24/+24″ when I look at the map?

These are some of the most asked questions. Getting to know your Travian quadrant position is pretty difficult for a new player, this is why we prepared a graphic that would help you know better where you stand.

If both numbers are positive, it means you are on the NE “wing”.

If you have the x negative and the y positive, then you are in the NW. For both values negative, look at the SW side of the map and if you have your x value positive and the w negative, it’s clear you are in the SE wing.

An example:

x=29, y=-45

We look for the positive x and negative y, that’s SE.

x=14, y=17

Both positive, NE.

Web designer and Travian player. Started playing Travian on the FIRST speed server (some years ago) as a total beginner. Afterwards I played on some more, trying desperately to not give Travian too much time (I kinda failed in this, it's addictive) :) Right now I am a top 10 player on the Travian.com #3 server in a top alliance.

    So far you have a prety good website, but, as this is a section for begginers, I was wondering if you could tell us the bonuses of each individual soldier and building ect. For example, what soldiers do you get from having a level 5 academy? How much wheat does a levl 7 field get you? Ect.

    do you know how the allocation of spots on the map works? my alliance is going to restart in the next server and i want everyone to be as close to each other as possible. do you reckon if we all started in the same quadrant, wed have a better chance of being really close to each other if we started within the same sort of hour, or would it not make a difference? any thoughts?
